About Jada:
For the 2018-2019 academic school year, Miss Jada Alaina Brown reigned as the 84th Miss North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University; on the platform, Purpose, Persistence, Prosperity: Walking In Your Purpose, Maintaining Persistence, and Achieving Prosperity. Hailing all the way from Columbia, South Carolina, her desire was to help the University to continue to evolve and thrive by strengthening the “Aggie” community both on and off campus. Jada believes that everyone has a purpose and that her God-given purpose is to help others.
Jada has her bachelor's degree in Psychology and is a proud graduate of the class of 2019 from the illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Jada started her professional career in the student engagement department for 2U Inc., an educational technology company that partners with top colleges and universities to bring their degree programs and credit-bearing courses online.
Jada plans to further her education at Bowie State University to receive her masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. In her personal time, she loves to network, enjoys brunch in the city, loves to dance and sing, model, give back to the community and create new memories with family and friends. Each day, Jada steps out on her faith with one of her favorite scriptures always at the forefront in her mind which says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)
